What information do you gather during the booking process? How do you use it?

When you purchase tickets on our web site, we gather only the information necessary to complete the transaction. This includes:
  • Passenger names (first, middle and last)
  • Purchaser name
  • Contact address
  • Billing address
  • Phone number
  • Passport Information
  • Fax number (optional)
  • Email address
  • Credit card number, CCV, and expiration date


    • Some governments may also require us to also collect gender and date of birth from each passenger when booking flights.

    This information is used for the purpose of completing your reservation, emailing a confirmation to you, and providing the air travel services you have purchased from us. In addition, select passenger information is sent to various governments’ security agencies prior to departure.

    During your purchase, we may also give you the option to sign up for a frequent flyer program, if you are not already a member.

    Once inflight, BVI Airways representatives may collect credit card information to enable inflight purchases.

    Who do you share my information with?

    BVI Airways does not sell or rent any personal information you provide on our web site to any other parties. BVI will only supply personal information with third parties ti the extent necessary to provide the air travel or other products you have purchased from or through us. BVI Airways may share anonymous, aggregated information about all our users with third parties.

    Additionally, BVI Airways will comply with applicable laws that may require us to share your information with government agencies.

    Technology & Security

    Our online reservation system resides on a secure server that encrypts your purchase information using Secure Socket Layers. You can verify that you are making your purchase on our secure server by looking for two things: (1) the padlock icon in the bottom status bar of your browser, and (2) the "s" after "http" in the address line in your browser (example: https://www.goBVI.com).

    After we receive your information, we safeguard the data with both physical and electronic measures.

    Cookies and Site Activity Data

    We may utilize cookies to track the effectiveness of online advertising. Each cookie contains a unique numeric code that is never tied to any personally identifiable information. We treat the gathered information confidentially and will not share it with anyone outside of BVI Airways. We use this information only to analyze the effectiveness of our online advertising.
