Our Fleet

As the first airline to offer regularly scheduled direct flights between the U.S. and the BVI, we want to provide the very best flight experience we can. The key to that philosophy is operating the regions most advanced and modern fleet of aircraft.

The BVIA fleet consists of AVRO RJ regional jets. These jets are 4-engine jets produced by BAE (British Aerospace Engineering), that are the only full-size jets capable of taking off and landing at Beef Island in Tortola. These spacious aircraft (similar in interior space to a Boeing 737) are well known for their safety, reliability and quietness. (You might be interested to know that the Queen of England owns two of them.) Each aircraft boasts state-of-the-art avionics, improving safety, and reliability.

Each of our jets has been completely refurbished to provide you with the best flight experience possible – certainly the best flight experience ever to the BVI (unless you were on a private jet).

For more technical information about our fleet, please see the tables below. Number of aircraft by type in the fleet current as at November 1 2016.
